Data Science for Social Good (NC State)

Data science offers powerful tools for addressing societal challenges, but it is not a magic solution. In this course, students examine where data science can genuinely help, where it can fall short, and what responsible practice looks like in real projects.

Format

This course is a discussion-oriented, 1-credit virtual class. Students engage with examples from current practice and reflect on how technical decisions connect to real human outcomes.
